Building a Classroom around solving real life problems.

When a student is given a real life problem or is faced with their own real life problem there is a series of steps that one goes through to solve these problems. Most people don't realise that they are even following these steps. When more complex issues are to be solved the following procedure can be used.

Step 1- Describe the problem- Design a container that can safely carry an egg
Step 2- Describe the results you want- Egg must not crack when dropped from ten feet using household items.
Step 3- Gather information- collect information about your situation
Step 4-Think of alternatives- use past experiences, draw on others ideas, draw, develop
Step 5- Choose the best solution-evaluate the solution and materials, would foam be a better choose to carry eggs or wood wood work etc.
Step 6- Implement the solution- build it
Step 7- Evaluate the solution and make Necessary changes
